There are few people whose names are so closely related to the development of the European machine vision industry as that of Wilhelm Stemmer. Now the visionary and pioneer is saying goodbye to active business. Wilhelm Stemmer set standards, accompanying, shaping and developing German and European machine vision right from the start. Dear Mr. Stemmer, for your achievement we all would like to express our respect and appreciation. Thank you very much for your commitment and your work!

VISION 2016 breaks again all records
With almost 10,000 visitors, 441 exhibitors, increased internationality and a rich supportive program, the VISION underscored its position as the world's leading trade fair for machine vision. VDMA MV was as conceptual sponsor present and observed an overall increase in interest in machine vision as well as in quality of discussions with visitors. This year's trending topics were – embedded vision, hyperspectral imaging and 3D. The date for the next VISION trade fair is already fixed: 6 - 8 November 2018.
