G3/International Vision Standards Meeting

From 14 to 18 May, about 150 technical experts from all over the world will meet at the VDMA in Frankfurt, Germany, to work on standards for machine vision and discuss new standardisation initiatives for the future. Hosting organisation is Silicon Software, in cooperation with VDMA Machine Vision.
In 2009, member supported trade associations began a cooperative initiative to coordinate the development of globally adopted vision standards and founded the international G3 initiative on standardization.
On 16 March 2016, CMVU (China Machine Vision Union) signed the agreement to officially join the international G3 initiative on standardization. VDMA MV is looking forward to a fruitful cooperation.
Stuttgart, 5 November 2014 - On the eve of the VISION 2014 trade show, VDMA Machine Vision has joined the international G3 initiative on standardization.
