VDMA is a new supporter of the standard VDI/VDE/VDMA 2632 Part 2: "Machine Vision - Guideline for the preparation of a requirement specification and a system specification" designed to serve suppliers and users of machine vision
From 14 to 18 May, about 150 technical experts from all over the world will meet at the VDMA in Frankfurt, Germany, to work on standards for machine vision and discuss new standardisation initiatives for the future. Hosting organisation is Silicon Software, in cooperation with VDMA Machine Vision.
In 2009, member supported trade associations began a cooperative initiative to coordinate the development of globally adopted vision standards and founded the international G3 initiative on standardization.
